The Check Out date must be within the next 60 days. You cannot check out a license before today or after 60 days. R219: FLOATING LICENSE FILE (.FLF) NOT FOUND The system cannot access the floating license file. This happens typically when the network connection is missing or the server cannot be accessed.

As user sa_cs1xxx in '/usr/local/packages/ansys/shared_files/licensing' run './start_lmcenter' to launch web-browser LM 17.2 GUI; Stop LM using option in menu 'Home > View Status/Start/Stop License Manager'; Exit LM web-browser GUI. As user flexlm in '/usr/local/packages/ansys'; Make directory 'V181' and 'cd V181'; Copy new LM tar file from e.g. /tmp 'cp /tmp/ANSYSLICMAN_181_LINX64.tar .'; Untar new LM tar file 'tar -xvf ANSYSLICMAN_181_LINX64.tar'. As user flexlm in '/usr/local/packages/ansys/V181' run './INSTALL.LM' to launch the installer GUI; Follow GUI prompts and install LM 18.1 in '/usr/local/packages/ansys'; Launch the updated LM web-browser GUI (from exit option in installation GUI); Check that the licenses are OK (see post 'Checking Ansys license files for correct port and TCP/IP') in menu 'License File Options > View FlexNet Licenses'; Start the updated LM in menu 'Home > View Status/Start/Stop License Manager'. Check that LM is checking out/in licenses by viewing '/usr/local/packages/ansys/shared_files/licensing/license.log'. |
